Molded case circuit breakers provide branch or feeder circuit protection against overload or short circuits, employing thermal magnetic trip units sensing both temperature and current to operate the breaker. Available in a variety of frame sizes for 3-pole configurations, UL489-rated MCCB components are available with amperage capacities up to 800A.

UL 489 DIN rail mountable miniature circuit breakers protect feeder, branch and control circuits from overload current. Dual rated for AC or DC applications, space-saving DIN-rail mountable 1-, 2-, and 3-pole breakers offer B, C or D overcurrent trip curves, and are available in current ratings up to 63A.

UL 1077 supplementary protectors provide overcurrent protection where branch protection is already provided or not required. DIN rail mountable 1-, 2-, and 3-pole protectors offer B, C or D overcurrent trip curves, and are available in current ratings up to 63A. Also available are DINnector® terminal-block style protectors that integrate easily into wiring systems.

The electronic circuit breaker distributes and monitors the load current over several circuits. They reliably recognize overloads and short circuits on an output. The circuit breakers' electronics permit brief current peaks and switch longer overloads off. The rated current for each output can be individually set with a current selector switch, which is accessible from the front. The outputs are time-delay and load-dependent activated to avoid overload current. If the rated current is exceeded for a set time, the output will be switched off automatically and can be switched on after a waiting time (thermal relaxation) using the pushbutton or the remote signal-input S1.

Disconnect switches provide a means for ensuring a circuit is completely de-energized for service, maintaining maximum safety for personnel. Available UL 98, UL 508, and UL 1008 rated switches in fused or non-fused configurations supply reliable disconnecting operations for even the most demanding applications, up to 600A.
