NITRA® pneumatic air valves are available in a wide variety of configurations to meet a broad range of pneumatic control air valve applications - pneumatic solenoid valves; modular solenoid air valves and manifolds; solenoid valve exhaust silencers; solenoid valve cables and connectors; air pilot valves; manual toggle, push-pull, rotary and foot-operated valves.
Solenoid valves are electrically controlled to direct air flow to sequence operations in pneumatic systems. Solenoid valves are used to control cylinders, rotary actuators, grippers and other pneumatic devices. Use a manifold to simplify plumbing for a bank of valves. Modular systems even allow networked control of valve groups.

Air operated valves are often used in areas where electrical signals would pose a hazard, or when air pressure control exists or is preferred. NITRA 5-port (4-way) spool valves are available with single-pilot spring return or double-pilot 2-position operation. Double-pilot models are also available in a 3-position center-closed configuration.

NITRA® Pneumatic Grippers are pneumatic actuators with jaws (or fingers) to grip objects. Compressed air pneumatic grippers have the ability to pick up, hold and release objects. Two jaw parallel and two jaw angle grippers are available from AutomationDirect. Parallel grippers open and close parallel to the object and angle (or angular) grippers open wider than parallel jaws requiring more space. Pneumatic grippers are used in a broad range of general automation processes such as pick & place, material transfer, clamping and indexing.

I/P Transducers are electro-pneumatic regulators that control air pressure with a 4-20mA signal. NITRA® NCPx Series electro-pneumatic transducers (I/P) convert a 4-20 mA current signal(I) from a PLC or other controller to a linear pneumatic output pressure(P).
Current to pneumatic (I/P) electro-pneumatic transducers are also commonly known by other descriptions depending on industry applications and even location. Other popular descriptive used are proportional pressure regulators, current to pressure transducers and electronic pressure regulators.
