IEC magnetic contactors provide compact load control that can handle diverse switching needs. Contactors are available in capacities up to 360 Amps, with a wide selection of AC/DC coil voltages; a miniature contactor series provides a small footprint while maintaining high horsepower ratings.

Contactors switch loads where overcurrent protection is not required; motor starters start polyphase induction motors; overload relays protect motors, controls, and circuits from excessive overload overheating. IEC compliant magnetic contactors are available in miniature or standard sizes in amperage ratings up to 360A. Miniature contactors have the added benefit of a compact footprint, which takes up less space inside an electrical enclosure.
