Color sensors are used for colored object detection, quality control and print accuracy applications. Typically using a white light source to evaluate color in the ROYGBV color space, models are available for 3 or 12-color simultaneous detection, with either single-lens optics or fiber optic cable extensions for flexible mounting, and a variety of sensing distances.
