Hinge Safety Interlock Switches are designed to provide position interlock detection for moving guards by providing positively operated switching contacts and a tamper resistant actuator mechanism. They are designed to fit to the hinged axis of machine guard doors. The switch body fits to the door frame and the actuator fits to the door.
Operation of the switches is achieved by the sliding action of the actuator arm to cause deflection of the switch plunger.
The head of the switch can be rotated to obtain the best switch orientation.
