AutomationDirect offers a variety of capacitive sensors that allow sensing of metal and non-metal objects, even through non-metal containers. Sensing distances range from 2-15mm flush and 2-40mm non-flush. NPN and PNP logic outputs and normally open or normally closed output models are available. All capacitive proximity sensors have LED status indicators to verify operation at the switch; and all capacitive proximity sensors are IP65 or IP67 rated. ZIPport multi-port junction blocks provide a simple and effective way to organize sensor wiring. Field wireable connectors and T-couplers can be used to make custom patch cable lengths from existing cables/bulk wire or turn a prewired sensor into a quick disconnect.
